The City of Camrose is preparing for the launch of a new residential curbside recycling service this fall, which is expected to begin on October 1, 2026. This initiative is part of Alberta's Extended Producer Responsibility framework, designed to improve how recyclable materials are handled in our community.
Under the upcoming guidelines, collection will take place every two weeks, using clear or blue bags for recyclables. The service is timed to align with garbage and compost collection days, ensuring a streamlined routine for households across the city.
As we move into the summer season, residents are also encouraged to make use of the 30km of urban trails that connect our neighborhoods. Whether you are walking, cycling, or bird-watching at Mirror Lake, these trails offer a great way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
